Terms of Service
Access to Water & Power
MMD may access my water and power., and I confirm that I have both at my home. If I live in an apartment complex or want detailing at an office without access, I understand alternative arrangements will need to be made.
Additional Charges
I acknowledge and agree to the $80 charge for pet hair removal (if applicable) and a $80 fee for excessive grime or kid messes, such as melted gum or candy (if applicable). I have read and hereby agree to the requirements for booking The Meticulous Maintenance Detail.
Removal of Personal Items
Please remove all personal items from your vehicle before your appointment. While we will take the utmost care with anything left inside, we cannot be held responsible for any personal items left behind.
Child Seats
Due to safety and liability reasons, we do not remove or replace car seats. Clients should remove car seats and booster seats prior to the appointment. If left in the vehicle, we will clean around the seats but cannot promise complete satisfaction.
Cancellations
Your time is valuable, and so is ours. In the event of a no-show, last-minute cancellation (without communication), cancellation without 24 hours’ notice, or arrival more than 30 minutes after the appointment start time, a cancellation fee of $75 will be charged. Payment for all services is due upon completion; no pre-payment is necessary.
Payment Methods
We gladly accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Apple Pay, and credit/debit cards (with a 4% fee).
Service Time Policy
Our service times are estimates. Your vehicle may take more or less time to complete the agreed-upon services.
Paint Correction, Polishing & Scratch Removal
Paint correction involves removing defects from the paint surface. Some scratches may be too deep to remove safely. MMD will always err on the side of caution to avoid removing too much clear coat. Excessive removal of clear coat can lead to the need for repainting. Labor requirements vary for each vehicle, which is why we cannot provide a flat rate price over the phone or online.
Pre-Existing Damage
Pre-existing damage may not be immediately evident during the initial inspection. Vehicles may have interior components that are broken, scratched, worn, faded, or loose without the owner’s knowledge. If we find any such items, we will bring them to your attention, and you agree not to hold MMD responsible for pre-existing damages. Dirt can hide exterior imperfections, and these may become more apparent during detailing. MMD is not responsible for pre-existing paint imperfections discovered during the course of detailing.
Note: MMD does not handle biohazards, including but not limited to vomit, blood, rodent or animal feces, and pest infestations. For such situations, please contact a local biohazard remediation expert or pest control company.
